# Zwier

> Zwier is a free group event planning app for iOS and Android. It helps groups plan bachelor parties, baby showers, birthdays, weddings, trips, and dinners together: find a date that works for everyone, build a shared itinerary, split expenses, vote on plans with polls, and assign tasks across the group.

Zwier is made by Wem. The mobile app is free; the web landing page at https://zwier.app links to the App Store and Google Play listings.

## What Zwier does
- **Date finder (datumprikker)**: propose candidate dates, every invitee marks their availability, the group sees which date works for everyone and confirms it.
- **Itinerary**: shared day-by-day timeline of the event with start and end times, locations, notes, and per-item costs.
- **Expenses**: log who paid for what, split between members, and settle up between users at the end.
- **Polls**: single- or multi-choice votes on activities, restaurants, songs, etc.
- **Tasks**: assign to-dos to one or more group members, with search and a "mine / open / done" filter.
- **RSVPs**: accepted / maybe / declined with dietary preferences.
- **Group chat, invites**: share a link, anyone joins without an account for the invite step.

## AI assistant integration
Zwier exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server so users can connect AI assistants like Claude to their Zwier account.

- Auth: OAuth 2.1 + PKCE, with email-OTP and Google sign-in. Per-user scope; an assistant only sees events the connected user is a member of.
